Gem Valmores has been appointed director of sales and marketing by the Edsa Shangri-La, Manila.
Valmores will drive the strategic business direction of the hotel and oversee all key departments of the sales and marketing division – namely room sales, events management, customer sales, communications and revenue management.
The hospitality veteran has 24 years of experience under her belt. She first joined Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in 2004 at the Makati Shangri-La, but left in 2012.
