In Bangkok, Aiden Surawong Bangkok puts travellers in the heart of the capital’s heritage-rich neighbourhoods. Situated on Surawong Road, the 77-room boutique hotel, the first Aiden brand hotel in South-east Asia, occupies a former jewellery workshop. Elsewhere in the Thai capital, SureStay by Best Western Siriraj Bangkok offers a different perspective on the city. Located on Arun Amarin Road, the new-build hotel sits less than 1km from Siriraj Hospital and across the Chao Phraya River from Rattanakosin, Bangkok’s old city and home to renowned heritage sites such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Phra Kaew.
