Ayana Komodo Waecicu Beach has introduced three cruise experiences exploring the marine life and islands of Komodo National Park.
The Manta Rays & Sea Turtles Adventure is a half-day trip visiting Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Siaba Island. Guests can snorkel at Manta Point, where manta rays feed and visit cleaning stations, before continuing to Siaba Island to look for sea turtles. The experience runs from 07.00 to 11.30 and costs I3.8 million rupiah (US$213) per adult and 3.45 million rupiah per child.
The Baby Sharks & Coral Reef Adventure visits Kelor Island, where juvenile blacktip reef sharks can be found in shallow waters, followed by Manjarite for snorkelling or viewing coral from a glass-bottom boat. The half-day trip costs 3.5 million rupiah per adult and 2.8 million rupiah per child.
The Komodo Dragons & Pink Beach Adventure is a full-day itinerary covering Padar Island, Pink Beach and Rinca Island. It includes a hike on Padar Island and a guided visit to see Komodo dragons. The experience costs 5.04 million rupiah per adult and 4.2 million rupiah per child.
All three include snorkelling equipment, water, soft drinks, snacks, towels and boat fees. Meals are also provided, while national park entrance fees are excluded from the Komodo Dragons & Pink Beach Adventure.
The manta ray and baby shark trips are available to staying and non-staying guests, while the Komodo dragon itinerary is limited to hotel guests. Staying guests receive a 10 per cent discount. Trips are subject to weather conditions.
