THAI celebrates return to Vienna

To celebrate its reinstatement of regular flights to Vienna after a long hiatus, Thai Airways International’s (THAI) recently held a gala event at Bangkok’s Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel.

Thai Airways International’s Usanee Sangsingkeo (left) and Gerhard Gotz from the Austrian Embassy in Thailand gracing the launch of the new routeStarting November 16, the four-times weekly service operated with Boeing 777-200ER is THAI’s first longhaul addition since 2015, according to the Bangkok Post, and comes as the International Civil Aviation Organization has yet to lift the red flag on Thailand.

Flights will depart Bangkok on at 01.30 on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays for arrival in Vienna at 07.00. The return service departs Vienna at 13.30 and arrives in Bangkok at 05.20 the following day.
