Fly from Thailand to Germany for under US$300

eurowings

LOW-COST direct flights from Bangkok and Phuket to Cologne were made available by Eurowings since December 2015, with the lowest ticket prices starting from below 10,000 baht (US$279), the cheapest fare to any part of Europe from Thailand to date.

Thailand is the only Asian destination that Eurowings flies internationally. Christian Hein, senior vice president sales, Eurowings, stated that Thailand was chosen because it is a highly popular destination for Germans and other Europeans.

Kittikhun Thonprayoon, ticketing manager, Pan Air Travel, said they are expecting more travellers, both inbound and outbound, to fly on the route, and have identified budget travellers from Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart and Rome as potential clients.

Eurowings is operating the routes using two 310-seat Airbus A330-200s with two scheduled flights per week each from Don Mueang International Airport and Phuket International Airport.
