Hilton to manage two more hotels in New Delhi

HILTON Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Eros Resorts & Hotels to manage two new properties in New Delhi’s Mayur Vihar district.

Hilton New Delhi Mayur Vihar, scheduled to open within the next few months, will offer 173 rooms including six suites, and three F&B outlets – a lobby lounge & bar, an all-day dining restaurant and a speciality restaurant.

DoubleTree by Hilton New Delhi – Mayur Vihar, currently operating as an unbranded hotel, will offer 196 rooms including four suites, a business centre, and an event space for 600 pax.

Hilton Worldwide’s president and CEO, Christopher Nassetta, said: “We are expanding rapidly and will more than triple our presence in India in the next two years – from four trading hotels to a total of 14, including these two properties signed with Eros Resorts & Hotels.”

The group will open an additional eight new hotels in New Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Baroda by 2012 – including four Hilton Hotels & Resorts, two DoubleTree by Hiltons, a Hilton Garden Inn and a Hampton by Hilton.
