As host of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 (ATF 2026), the Philippines will welcome delegates to Cebu, positioning the event as a platform for regional tourism exchange and cooperation within ASEAN.
A central component of ATF 2026 will be the National Tourism Organisation briefings on January 28 and 29, 2026. These sessions will include updates from ASEAN member states, including Timor-Leste, the newest member, covering tourism developments, destinations and policy priorities across South-east Asia.

The programme will also include official functions such as a hosted luncheon by Tourism Malaysia on January 28, 2026 at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort, the ASEANTA Excellence Awards Night, the ATF 2026 Opening Ceremony hosted by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, and a reception and dinner hosted by the Singapore Tourism Board to welcome delegates to ATF 2027. The ASEAN Tourism Standard Awards and Closing Ceremony will be held at the NUSTAR Convention Centre.
Official hotels for ATF Travex 2026 include Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan, Shangri-La Mactan Cebu, Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and The Reef Island Resort Mactan. Eight partner hotels in Lapu-Lapu City will also offer special rates for delegates: Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa, Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu, JPark Island Resort and Waterpark Mactan, Savoy Hotel Mactan, Mercure Hotel Mactan Cebu, BE Resort Mactan and Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu.
ATF Travex 2026 will take place at a new convention venue and will combine business meetings, networking sessions and awards presentations as ASEAN tourism stakeholders review regional priorities and cooperation.
“As a key meeting point for the travel industry in South-east Asia, Travex plays an important role in strengthening partnerships and driving growth,” said TPB COO Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.
“Hosting this event is a responsibility we value highly, and we are committed to creating a dynamic platform that highlights the depth, connectivity, and momentum of tourism across ASEAN.”
