Best Western Hotels & Resorts has signed a deal with Landowner Japan for a new hotel in Kyoto, which will also mark the Japanese launch of the BW Signature Collection.
Set to open in 4Q2020, The Hotel Kyoto Palace, BW Signature Collection by Best Western will be nestled in the city’s central Nakagyo Ward.
The 57 guest rooms will include double, twin, deluxe twin and premier twin options, ranging in size from 23 to 40m². Hotel facilities include a spa with gender-segregated sections, a library, a bar and a restaurant serving Japanese and international cuisines.
The signing of The Hotel Kyoto Palace, BW Signature Collection by Best Western marks the latest step in the Japanese expansion strategy of the hotel group, which now operates 18 properties across Japan.
