AVANI Hotels & Resorts has appointed Alejandro Bernabé to vice president of operations. Bernabé joined AVANI as group director in January this year.
He is responsible for the operational and financial performance of AVANI Hotels & Resorts, and will also be spearheading new developments and brand initiatives. Bernabé reports directly to Robert Kunkler, COO of Minor Hotels, and is based at Minor Hotels regional office in Bangkok.
The 20-year hospitality veteran started his hotel career in F&B in Switzerland and has worked across multiple disciplines and brands, including varied general manager appointments.
