Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu
Marking Marriott International’s debut in Nepal, the 115-room Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu is located in Thamel, a commercial district in the capital city. Facilities on-site include an all-day dining restaurant, a bar and lobby lounge, fitness centre, a 24/7 convenience store, and two meeting rooms. It is located near attractions such as the Narayanhiti Palace Museum, Garden of Dreams and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Sanya Yazhou Bay Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton
Hilton has opened Sanya Yazhou Bay Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton – the first Curio Collection property in Greater China and Asia-Pacific. Located on Hainan Island’s west coast, the resort features 267 rooms and suites, all of which come with large soaking tubs. Facilities on-site include a 2,000m2 swimming pool, game room, kids’ club and five F&B options. For events, there is a 1,200m2 banquet space and nine smaller meeting rooms.
Somerset Ekamai Bangkok
Ascott’s 11th property in Thailand, the 262-unit Somerset Ekamai Bangkok comprises three modern towers that offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Of the 262 apartments, 130 are regular apartments, 81 of them are for long-stay corporate leasing, while the rest of the 51 are single-bedroom apartments designed to facilitate meetings and discussions between rooms. Facilities include a swimming pool, massage parlour, gym, and The Cured Chamber restaurant. Also, a conference centre houses an auditorium and five meeting rooms, for business events.
Swiss-Belhotel International has opened its three-star Swiss-Belinn Luwuk in Central Sulawesi. Located a 10-minute drive from Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport, the 102-room hotel – 100 rooms and two villas – overlooks Luwuk and offers views of the city, the southern Banggai coastline and Banda Sea. Facilities include the Barelo restaurant, a bar, swimming pool, fitness centre and spa, as well as three meeting rooms for up to 300 guests.
