THE Nam Hai has promoted Florian Leven from executive assistant manager to resident manager of the resort.
Since joining the resort in May 2014, the 17-year veteran of the international hospitality industry has implemented effective performance and training tools and played a key role in maintaining quality control and consistency in day-to-day operations.

Leven, a German, had a six-year stint in Hawaii, where he served in a variety of roles at Mauni Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows and Kahala Hotel & Resort, before joining The Nam Hai.
He started his hospitality career in 1998 working as an apprentice for two years at the Elysee Hotel in Hamburg. After that, he worked for the Zurich Marriott Hotel and Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in Switzerland before earning his Masters in Hospitality & Tourism from Johnson & Wales University in the US.
