In keeping with its promise to continually offer new experiences, Disney Cruise Line will add a port call at Langkawi, Malaysia for select Disney Adventure four-day sailings starting December 31, 2026.
Disney Cruise Line believes that the itinerary enhancement will offer guests of the Singapore-homeported Disney Adventure “more choice by combining magical days at sea… with the opportunity to explore another destination in South-east Asia”.

Sharing initial details of the newly-launched itineraries, a Disney Cruise Line spokesperson told TTG Asia that the port call will be made on the third day of the journey, and guests will be able to enjoy nature-based experiences, family-friendly activities, local crafts, and cultural attractions on shore.
These are expected to complement a Disney Adventure cruise vacation.
The spokesperson added that Disney Cruise Line works with independent third-party operators to offer Port Adventures options, which will be priced across a range.
Guests can view the Port Adventures offerings via My Reservations on the Disney Cruise Line website or on the Navigator App. Bookings may be made through these channels or on board the ship at the Port Adventures Counter.
When asked if the new Langkawi port call offering would allow Disney Cruise Line to attract a different segment of guests or offer a strong lure for repeat Disney Adventure fans, the spokesperson said: “Introducing Langkawi gives guests another vacation choice while retaining the four-night format and keeping the Disney Adventure experience at the heart of the vacation.”
She emphasised that the cruise ship remains both the journey and the destination.
“These options provide guests with more reasons to travel and encourage repeat guests to sail again with us on the four-night sailing,” she added.
Besides the new Langkawi port of call, Disney Cruise Line has updated Disney Adventure’s three- and four-night itineraries from September to December 2027.
