Amari launches ONYX Print E-mail

Thai-based Amari has created a new management company, ONYX Hospitality Group, to manage two new brands, the luxury Saffron and select services Ozo. Amari remains as a mid to upscale brand. The first Saffron property will be Oriental Residence Bangkok, which is under construction and will open in 2011 with privately-owned condominiums and 145 serviced apartments. Ozo aims at a fresh take on select services for business and leisure travellers. ONYX debuted at ITB Berlin where Amari’s Duncan Webb (centre) waved the new company’s flag
