Langham tantalises meeting planners with sensory experiences
Hong Kong, February 15, 2017

The Langham, Hong Kong is introducing the Meaningful Meetings for the Senses programme to deliver experiential meeting environments inspired by colours.

Under the Balanced Green theme, executive chef Pedro Samper will present lunch and tea menus featuring green pea risotto with asparagus and porcini mushrooms, organic free range chicken with celery root puree and organic carrots and granny smith and melon jelly shooters. Seasonal fruits and energy bars will also be offered, on top of green juices and mocktails.

During the breakout session, ambient sounds of dancing trees, singing birds and flowing rivers and creeks will be played.

The lunch menu for the Trusted Blue theme features sustainably-sourced blue fin tuna peppered tataki and pan-fried sustainable halibut fillet, while tea break highlights include deep-fried ocean pacific prawns and blueberry aioli and seared scallops with wasabi mayonnaise and salmon roe.

A Water Bar concept will also be introduced, offering a variety of flavoured sparkling and still water for delegates to mix and match.

Soothing sounds of the ocean waves and rolling tide, accompanied by floral fragrances, will complete the sensory experience.

As part of the Vibrant Orange theme, a lunch menu will be offered featuring avocado tartar and caramalised fig rocket salad with passion fruit and orange dressing, and poached salmon with sundried tomato sauce, while kumquat and almond tart are offered for tea break.

For beverages, delegates can enjoy the Triple Revitaliser mocktail made with carrots, apples and lemons, as well as a ginger and dragon fruit juice.
The package also incorporates a fruity scent with notes of mandarin and black currant, along with uplifting contemporary music.

The full-day package (based on a minimum group size of 10 pax) is priced at HK$980++ (US$126.30++) per person, while the half-day package price is HK$900++ with lunch and HK$530++ without.
