Sthala, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali
Marriott International has unveiled its first new-build property under the Tribute Portfolio umbrella. Situated in Lodtunduh, Ubud, the 143-room Sthala is perched on a hilltop with views of the Wos River valley. The Balinese-inspired property features three F&B venues – Naga Rooftop Bar & Lounge, all-day dining restaurant Sungai, and the Panorama Pool and Sundeck Lounge – as well as a fitness centre, spa, dedicated yoga deck, and 400m² of function space.
Beijing Hotel NUO
Rebranded from the Raffles Beijing Hotel, the five-star Beijing Hotel Nuo is the flagship property of NUO Hotels. Featuring 171 rooms and suites with views of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, facilities on-site include seven F&B options, a spa, a gym and a 25m-long indoor heated pool. The Ming Dynasty-inspired property also boasts 2,500m² of meeting space, including a 1,600m² Grand Ballroom, and 14 meeting and function rooms.
Hyatt Regency Sydney
The Hyatt Regency brand marks its return to Sydney with the debut of the 892-room Hyatt Regency Sydney. Located in the CBD and adjacent to Darling Harbour, the property now sports a new 24-storey tower, a 272-seater all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop open-air bar (opening in late December) and a new Regency Club lounge. Meeting spaces span over 3,450m², including two ballrooms that can seat more than 1,000 people, and 21 meeting rooms.
Ascott Orchard Singapore
The Ascott has opened its 20-storey Ascott Orchard Singapore along the city’s famed shopping belt. Of the 220 units available, eight are penthouse suites that have been furnished by Fendi Casa. Regular suites come with fully-equipped kitchens in three configurations – studio, one- and two-bedroom. Amenities on-site include a swimming pool, children’s outdoor play area, herb garden, gym and a residents’ lounge. To celebrate its opening, the Ascott Orchard is offering 30 per cent off its prevailing Best Flexible Rate from December 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017.
